Mrs. Robert Henrey papers, 1939-1984.

Handwritten manuscripts, page and galley proofs of selected works, correspondence, photographs, book reviews, and clippings. Henrey's literary works include A Girl at Twenty, She Who Pays, and To Dearest Him, a collection of letters to Henrey's husband. Correspondence between Henrey and Texas Woman's University discusses the Henrey papers, her family, personal experiences, and her views on feminism and women writers. One of her later letters was published by the University as part of its diamond jubilee celebration in 1977 under the title Magnificently Mistress of her Trade. Includes three original watercolor book jacket designs by Phyllis Ginger. Also contains photographs and movie reviews pertaining to Henrey's son, Bobby Henrey, who worked as a child film star.
